Amazon's price was unbeatable compared to scales I had been looking at in retail stores, including Bed Bath and Beyond and Target. The scale provides a BMI read-out based on your height (manually entered) and weight, and also a body fat percentage estimate based on analysis of how a small electrical current travels through your body.
Works great. Everything I wanted.
This is a review for the HBF-400 model. The site said it wouldn't ship for several weeks, but as I suspected the product shipped much sooner than estimated).
Unlike other reviewers, I suspect I do have as high of a body fat percentage as it says. I had been looking for a scale for a while.

Very pleased with this Omron HFB-400 Body Fat Monitor and Scale. I needed a scale to keep track of my weight and body fat properly and this was very good in doing that. Most other scales were always off by 4 to five pounds, this scale is very accurate in giving the proper weight within 1/10tenth of an ounce.
I particularly like the fact that you can enter information for up to 4 family members as well as a 'guest' entry. Nice tool at a nice price. The product does exactly what it is described to do. It saves you last entry to help you see your progress. Definately recommended. I do not know how accurate it is vs. getting your body fat checked at the nutritionist or the gym, but it is a consistent number, giving you a nice benchmark to view your progress.
just need the water meter and will be a+ this item is an great article and easy to use.
Finally I'm happy with body scale I have. Recently I have tried at least 5 different kinds and brands, and only this one actually worked perfect, with very good precission.
